Behind The Music

1 / "Theme" from A Beginner's Guide To Interplanetary Destruction

This is the orchestral version of the main theme for the sci-fi/fantasty audio drama comedy, which I composed with Daniel Williams. We actually did a few variations on this, including country, metal, and even techno styles! Available wherever you get your podcasts, or you can listen here.

2 / "Theme" from Spacemerica!

Main theme for the sci-fi audio dramedy. Available wherever you get your podcasts, or you can listen here.

3 / "Into The Light" from Spacemerica! S1E09

Commissioned to enhance the courage and sacrifice of a main character. This was written using Sibelius, with some percussion added later in Logic Pro X. Available wherever you get your podcasts, or you can listen here.

4 / "The End Is Near" from Spacemerica! (S2 TBD)

Commissioned for the forthcoming season of the audio dramedy, Spacemerica!

5 / "Jane The Ripper (Intro)" from Jane The Ripper

Theme music for the scripted audio drama thriller. Written entirely on GarageBand iOS. Available wherever you get your podcasts, or you can listen here.

6 / "Glen By The Sea" by Sweetgum

Written entirely in Garageband iOS, mixed/mastered in GarageBand desktop, and available here.

7 / "Strawberry" by Sweetgum (unreleased)

Written entirely on GarageBand iOS, mixed/mastered in Logic Pro X.

8 / "What We Once Thought Impossible" by Sweetgum (unreleased)

From the forthcoming album, Acid.

9 / "Clarity" by The Good Deeds

This is a song I wrote in 2018, and only ended up being recorded at the last minute. A treatise on uncertainty and indecisiveness. From All Will Be Well (2021), available everywhere.

10 / "His World-Peace Machine Did Not Impress Women, So He Dismantled It" by Bearcub

My long-time friendo and collaborative partner Daniel and I formed a 2-piece weirdo math-rock band, once referred to as "stoner math." This was inspired by this fantastic webcomic. You can find this track on our album of the same name, Tragedies (2017), available here.

This is an original composition inspired in large part by The Expanse series, written by James S. A. Corey with all images taken from the NASA image gallery.
